He shared the league lead with five goals and tied for second overall with seven points in four games to help lead the Red Wings to seven out of a possible eight standings points.
He left the Red Wings having won two Stanley Cups In and , four consecutive Lady Byng trophies , , , and , games played, and points. Datsyuk, upon leaving, was also the last remaining member of the Detroit Red Wings Stanley Cup Championship team.
